Bio
Delina is responsible for managing, organizing and revamping the cafeterias at Castlegar and Silver King, as well as managing and promoting the new residence at Tenth Street. Delina has an extensive background in the food service/hospitality industry and for the past three years she has operated as an independent contractor managing a catering company and providing seniors in the West Kootenay with high quality, homemade, nutritious meals. Prior to owning her own business, Delina worked as a Food Service Director, Manager and Executive Chef for seniors housing complexes and hotels. As well as having her Red Seal Chef Journeyman certification, Delina has her Pastry Chef certification from Ecole de Gastronomie Escoffier, Ritz Hotel, in Paris, France. She is also a member of the Canadian Federation Chef de Cuisine and Canadian Society of Nutrition Managers.
