Bio
Bernie has been an instructor with Selkirk College since the early 80’s. She began her instructing career with Continuing Education instructing Shorthand and Typing night courses, while working her day job with the Provincial Government within Ministry of Highways, Court Registry and the Provincial and Federal Court System.
Bernie’s first full-time instructing position was with the Office Administration Program and then she moved to the School of Hospitality and Tourism. She has taken and taught a number of online courses, and now a portion of her position is to construct and maintain the GCOOL (Golf Course Operations On-Line) golf courses.
Bernie has also worked with a number of golf courses across Canada installing and implementing golf specific software such as Profitek, Country Club Systems, Floating Point and CARMA (Course and Resort Management Applications).
