Esther Storvold, PID (Provincial Instructor Diploma). Esther has been working for Selkirk College since 1994. Esther is the recipient of the NISOD Excellence Award in June 2006: http://www.nisod.org/exc_awards/index.html
Working as a medical transcriptionist for 15 years at a local hospital, Esther initiated and developed the Advanced Medical Transcription Program in 1994 in collaboration with the local hospital.
Because of the hard work put in by the instructors, graduates from the Selkirk College Advanced Medical Transcription Program are highly sought after by employers.
