Bio
After finishing the theatre program at Dalhousie University I worked in the professional theatre for 22 years as an actor, producer, and director, traveling and working everywhere between Nova Scotia and the Yukon. I have performed for stage, film, television, radio and appear on several musical recordings. I also cofounded and managed two theatre companies during that time. In 2002 I accepted the position of Executive Director of the Nelson and District Arts Council and in 2006 I accepted the position of Development and Alumni Coordinator for Selkirk College. My experience working with large theatre companies, nonprofit groups and arts productions have all contributed to my abilities to produce successful and entertaining fund raising and alumni events and provide successful planning for the development of the Communications and Development Department.
Hobbies and Interests
Although I currently do not work professionally in the entertainment business, I continue to participate in choirs, local theatre productions and teach voice and drama. I have always been an avid reader and movie buff. I have a serious interest in my three children and will continue to do so as long as they let me!
