The Gender Equity Working Group is holding a two-part workshop series affirming gender diversity at the end of March. Both employees and students are welcome, so please feel free to share with your classes.   

This three-part, two-day professional development series supports participants in deepening their understanding of gender identity, sexual orientation and self-exploration, moving beyond binary frameworks toward inclusive, affirming practices. The series intentionally combines self-directed learning, dialogue-based engagement and creative/expressive exploration. The structure allows participants to build shared foundational knowledge, experience lived and professional perspectives, and engage in artistic, embodied, and reflective self-exploration for learning. 

Engage in personal online learning from Trans Care BC (time commitment four hours) and bring your reflections to the Course Club. Then, join two-spirit Ktunaxa poet, playwright and podcaster Smokii Sumac for an artistic and experiential exploration of gender beyond the binary.
