The West Kootenay Career Fair is just around the corner! Hosted by Selkirk College and the Kootenay Career Development Society (KCDS), this year’s fair is a community-wide event open to students, graduates and community members.

There will be a fair in Nelson and a fair in Castlegar.

Transportation Between Campuses

To make it easy for everyone to attend, we are coordinating with MTI to provide transportation connecting each campus. Check out the event listing to see the bus schedules for the Nelson and Castlegar fairs.

If you are an instructor who would like to bring your class to the event by bus, please contact us so we can assist with planning and logistics.

Encouraging Class Participation

Instructors who are interested in offering participation marks and using the conversation-starter punch cards are encouraged to contact us for support and materials.

Event Scope and Participation

This year, the Career Fair will be a standalone event and won't be combined with Open House. Recruitment will host a table at the event, and schools or departments that wish to participate are welcome to register for their own table.

Thank you for helping us promote this important event and for your continued support of student engagement and career development. We look forward to a successful and impactful Career Fair!
