Communications and Public Engagement is pleased to share updated Photography and Videography Procedures. These procedures guide how we capture and share campus life, both inside and outside the classroom, while ensuring we do so with care and respect.

Photos and videos are an important part of how we tell the Selkirk College story. They help bring our programs to life and showcase the people and experiences that define our campuses. At the same time, it’s important that everyone feels comfortable and understands how photos and videos are used and shared.

These procedures outline clear, practical steps for capturing, storing, and sharing photos and video, with a focus on consent, communication and transparency. Whether you’re planning an event, organizing a photoshoot, or taking photos in your area, the goal is to set clear, consistent expectations.
