Share Your Ideas for the Future of Kootenay School of the Arts
Selkirk College is collecting ideas for the future of the Kootenay School of the Arts (KSA) after the closure of the Victoria Street Campus.
KSA was established in 1958. Selkirk College absorbed the arts school, which was facing threat of closure, as the Victoria Street Campus in 2006.
While the college will not be part of KSA’s next chapter, we are helping to facilitate an initial conversation about its next iteration. Anyone who has experience in arts programming or transitioning post-secondary to an external model is invited to send ideas to whatsnextksa@selkirk.ca.
Share your ideas before November 6. After that, we will pass them onto any groups who may emerge to transition KSA to a new model.
