Employee Health & Safety Orientation
All employees must be given a health and safety orientation, training, instruction and direction specific to their workplace and tasks so that they can perform their work in a safe manner. Employee health and safety orientations require two parts:
Step one: Before commencing work, all employees must complete the New Worker Health & Safety Online Orientation.
Step two: Once you have finished the online orientation, please have your supervisor complete the Site Specific Safety Orientation Checklist with you.
Supervisors: Are required to take the Safety Supervision at Selkirk course to learn about their safety related responsibilities and how to provide orientation to their workers.
