Selkirk College's Advancement team works with a wide range of partners to assist the development of the college, its students, alumni and staff. Our success is largely reflected in the generosity of community members, alumni, retirees, college staff, businesses and organizations across the region.

Funds you can support:

• The Selkirk College Fund: This unrestricted pool of funds touches every corner of campus life. Gifts to this fund immediately enhance our ability to deliver excellence in education by supporting our students, empowering faculty and improving facilities. Help elevate the student experience in and beyond the classroom!
• Selkirk College Student Emergency Fund (SSSEF): This fund provides emergency support to Selkirk College students. Fund are directed where they are needed and will provide funding for initiatives like the student food bank. Cast a safety net for students with a gift to this fund.
• General Scholarships, Bursaries & Awards Fund: Gifts to this fund make a deserving student’s education possible. Change a student’s life today.
• Selkirk College Employee Endowment Fund: This endowment fund generates investment income to provide scholarships and bursaries to Selkirk College students for generations to come. Be a part of our team’s long-lasting legacy.
• Other: Choose a fund that matches your passions or interests. If you are not sure which funds are available, ask your colleagues about existing funds or contact the Advancement team.

Scholarships & Bursaries

Advancement fundraises for scholarships, bursaries and awards for Selkirk College students through an annual giving program that engages community members and industry partners. Every year, over $400,000 is awarded in scholarships and bursaries to approximately 400 students.

Faculty are our best partners in engaging industry- and program-specific donors. You bring the connection and inspiration, and we can help facilitate establishing a bursary, scholarship, award or recurring donation to support students.
