Respect in the Workplace: Deadline January 31

All employees are required to complete a training module on “Respect in the Workplace.” The province mandates this for the post-secondary sector and it takes approximately 30-60 minutes to complete.

Standard format - Please follow the link below and log in using the credentials provided:

Accessible format - Please follow the link below and log in using the credentials provided:

Additional resources related to the accessible version can be found here:

A few things to note about both versions:

  • Some users have experienced issues opening links to external resources when accessing the course using Microsoft Edge. We recommend completing the training in a different browser (Chrome, Firefox etc.).
  • Please be sure to enter your name/department at the beginning of the course, to assist with completion tracking.
  • Once you've completed the course, please download your certificate of completion and email it to HR@selkirk.ca.

FOIPPA Foundations Training

As part of privacy training, it is required that all employees complete the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) Foundations, Privacy and Access Fundamentals course. This course is basic, but it will provide a high-level understanding of FOIPPA and your role in maintaining privacy.

Access the course here and then choose the round module tiles at the bottom of the page. There are also “tip sheets” that you can download for each module. Upon completion of the course, please email HR@selkirk.ca with your certificate.

Health & Safety Orientation

At Selkirk College, we require every new employee to complete our online safety training prior to beginning work to help keep our campuses safe and healthy. The orientation is approximately 15 minutes long, and is found here: https://forms.selkirk.ca/view.php?id=98571
